Karpi Trust was registered on February 24, 2020 and began functioning from March 1, 2020 – The Zero Discrimination day.  “Karpi” in Tamil language means, ‘educate’.

Karpi Trust will work for the upliftment of the weaker sections particularly the Dalits, Adhivasis (Tribals), Women and the Persons with Disabilities in all spheres of their lives. The trust will also work for the betterment of the environment, ecology and in the area of disaster management.

Further, the Trust is inspired by all the 17 Sustainable Development Goals of the united nations which focus on reduction of inequality, clean environment, good health, overall well-being and eco-friendly sustainable development. Karpi trust adds all the sustainable development goals to its trust objectives.

Karpi Trust bases its entire activities through the contributions from the people who strongly believe in the equality and justice. Keeping this in view, the trust has resolved that it will not involve in fund raising from individuals and institutions who involve in any unethical business.
